Weddings at The 1850's River
House

The 1850's River House at the DRMS rests just
south of the center point of New
Jersey's Scenic byway. The 1850's River House provides an elegantly lined tented
adjacent to the Historic River House and boasts beautiful views of the D&R Canal
and the Delaware River while providing an elegant and unique setting for your
Wedding.
The site is available for private event rentals generally from mid April to late
October/Early November. The 1850's River House is a seasonal tented space with
a seated capacity to accommodate up to 225 guests. The site also has space for
an outdoor ceremony featuring 2 favorite locations, each with their own unique
backdrop.
For the 2012 & 2013 Inaugural seasons, you can utilize the
1850's River House for a 10-hour window of time for as low as $23.50 per person
* which not only includes the use of the elegantly lined tented structure, which
features striking fabric linen tent ceiling, elegant chandeliers, tent flooring,
but also includes round seating tables and one set of basic white folding
chairs, which may be used for your ceremony, reception or both**, in addition to
the approved inside areas of the 1850's River House as well as approved outside
area. Your tented event space is adjacent to a beautiful historic river house,
which includes a first floor bridal suite, indoor bathroom, and access to the
first floor public areas of the house, wonderfully suited for an indoor bar or
lounge space.
